VIA Pocket Schedule Errors

Some of the official VIA schedules have errors. The vast majority of them are minor visual errors and inconsistencies (most of which won't be listed here), but some errors convey inaccurate information. So, I have created this list of errors that you may want to be aware of below.

  • St. Gerald High School is now the St. Gerald Education & Athletic Center

  • Claver Street is mislabeled as Amanda Street

  • King Middle School is now the M. L. King Academy

  • There is a copy-paste accident at the bottom of the weekday timetable. The very last row of times for the late-night lineup should be ignored.

  • The bus does not travel on Elgin Avenue as the map suggests; it travels on the parallel Anita Street instead

  • Loop 410 is mislabeled as Loop 1604.

  • New Braunfels State Hospital is now the San Antonio State Hospital

  • Connell Middle School is now Hot Wells Middle School

    43 South Flores
  • The compass is slightly misaligned; the actual map is rotated ever-so-slightly more counterclockwise than the compass is.

  • E Durango Blvd is now Cesar Chavez.

  • Point A is slightly misplaced; Pleasanton & Gillette is actually east of the intersection it is placed at.

  • San Fernando Cemetaries is shown to be north of Roselawn Avenue instead of south.

  • Alazan-Apache Courts is shown to be northeast of Guadalupe Street instead of southwest.

  • Woodlawn Lake Park is shown to be west of NW 24th Street instead of east.

    93 IH-10 Crossroads / Roadrunner Express
  • The FG notes at The Rim's weekday departure times at 6:16am and 8:16am (inbound, point A) are mislabeled as TG.

  • Because of the route color change that happened due to the August 2024 rebrand, the directional arrows are now extremely difficult to see. A copy of the schedule with the old colors can be found here. Note that this should be used as a visual reference only, as the timetable is now outdated.

  • Cody Branch Library is shown to be north of Vance Jackson instead of south.

    202 Blanco Lineup
  • Although the timepoint at West Avenue & Jackson-Keller exists on the 651 timetable (point A), there are no times listed. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:58pm, 11:58pm, and 12:58am.

  • Although the timepoint at St. Mary's & Pecan exists on the 2 timetable (point I), there are no times listed. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:24pm and 12:24am.

  • The late-night lineup times for Navarro & Augusta (outbound, point G) are incorrect on the weekday, Saturday, and Sunday timetables; the actual times are 10:32pm, 11:32pm, and 12:32am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at St. Mary's & Martin. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:22pm and 12:22am.

  • The timepoint at Broadway & Josephine (point F) is mislabeled as being at Broadway & Grayson.

    222 Hays / East Houston Lineup
  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at W. W. White & Gembler. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:44pm, 11:44pm, and 12:44am.

  • The lineup times are completely absent on the 22 timetable. The departure times from each timepoint are as follows:

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Houston & W. W. White Rd. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:47pm, 11:47pm, and 12:47am.

  • There is a missing timepoint at Cesar Chavez & Alamo (point D on the 26 schedule). The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:09pm, 12:09am, and 1:09am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Denver & Hackberry. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:45pm, 11:45pm, and 12:45am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at S.E. Military Drive & Goliad. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:02pm, 12:02am, and 1:02am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at New Braunfels & Fair Avenue. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:11pm, 12:11am, and 1:11am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Flores & Dolorosa. The outbound arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:33pm, 11:33pm, and 12:33am, and the inbound arrival times would be 11:17pm, 12:17am, and TG 1:17am.

    246 Commercial Lineup
  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Madla Transit Center. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:09pm, 12:09am, and 1:09am. Note that this one likely happened because of the retirement of Route 48 in 2020.

    251 Nogalitos / Kirk Lineup
  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at S.W. Military Drive & Barlite. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:52pm, 11:52pm, and 12:52am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at S. Flores & Dolorosa. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:21pm, 12:21am, and TG 1:21am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Castroville & S.W. 36th Street. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:54pm, 11:54pm, and 12:54am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Buena Vista & Colorado. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:13pm, 12:13am, and 1:13am.

  • Although the timepoint at Centro Plaza exists for both directions on the 66 and 68 timetables (point E in both cases), there are no times listed for the inbound direction (66). The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:16pm, 12:16am, and 1:16am.

    276 West Commerce / Kel-Lac Transit Center Lineup
  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Commerce & Colorado. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:39pm, 11:39pm, and 12:39am.

    282 Culebra Lineup
  • The map is wrong near Loop 410; the bus travels on Grandstand Drive and Fairgrounds Parkway, just like the daytime 82 does.

    288 Bandera / Evers Lineup
  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Bandera & Loop 410. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:56pm, 11:56pm, and 12:56am. Additionally, the departure times for this timepoint would be 10:59pm, 11:59pm, and 12:59am.

    289 Poplar / Woodlawn Lineup
  • There is an extra erroneous timepoint at Martin & Frio.

  • Although the timepoint at Ingram & Callaghan exists on the 90 timetable (point B), there are no times listed. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:05pm, 12:05am, and 1:05am.

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at West Avenue & Basse. The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:03pm, 12:03am, and 1:03am.

    648 North Star / Stone Oak
  • The transfer with Route 3 that is listed at Bitters & Heimer no longer exists

    ‡ Sometimes, the words outbound and inbound will be used in this table. Outbound and inbound refer to the order of timepoints in the official schedules. For example, Route 32 has timepoints labeled as A thru G, where the A→F direction is considered to be inbound, and the G→A direction is considered to be outbound.
