VIA Pocket Schedule Errors

This page was last updated on October 22, 2025

Some of the official VIA schedules have errors. The vast majority of them are minor visual errors and inconsistencies (most of which won't be listed here), but some errors convey inaccurate information. So, I have created this list of errors that you may want to be aware of below.

  • St. Gerald High School is now the St. Gerald Education & Athletic Center

  • Claver Street is mislabeled as Amanda Street

  • King Middle School is now the M. L. King Academy
Porter Frequent
  • There is a copy-paste accident at the bottom of the weekday timetable. The very last row of times for the late-night lineup should be ignored.
Rigsby
  • The line east of Foster Meadows for the H-E-B Distribution Center service branch is colored incorrectly (it should be tan)
Steves
  • The bus does not travel on Elgin Avenue as the map suggests; it travels on the parallel Anita Street instead

  • Loop 410 is mislabeled as Loop 1604
South Presa
  • New Braunfels State Hospital is now the San Antonio State Hospital

  • Connell Middle School is now Hot Wells Middle School
South Flores
  • The compass is slightly misaligned; the actual map is rotated ever-so-slightly more counterclockwise than the compass is

  • E Durango Blvd is now Cesar Chavez

  • Point A is slightly misplaced; Pleasanton & Gillette is actually east of the intersection it is placed at
Pleasanton
  • The compass is slightly misaligned; the actual map is rotated ever-so-slightly more counterclockwise than the compass is
Kirk
  • San Fernando Cemetaries is shown to be north of Roselawn Avenue instead of south

  • Lowell Middle School is now the Kelly Academy
Ceralvo
  • The compass is slightly misaligned; the actual map is rotated slightly more counterclockwise than the compass is

  • Alazan-Apache Courts is shown to be northeast of Guadalupe Street instead of southwest
Laredo
  • Cooper Middle School is now the Cooper Academy at Navarro
West Commerce Frequent
  • Wrenn Middle School no longer exists
West Commerce Skip
  • Wrenn Middle School no longer exists
Martin
  • The late-night lineup times are incorrect on the weekday, Saturday, and Sunday timetables

  • Point D is slightly misplaced; Pecan & Navarro is actually at the intersection directly south of Point E

  • University Downtown Health Center is now the University Health Robert B. Green Campus

  • The late-night lineup times are incorrect on the weekday, Saturday, and Sunday timetables
    • The actual departure times for Point B are 10:48pm, 11:48pm, and 12:48am
    • The actual departure times for Point C are 10:53pm, 11:53pm, and 12:53am
    • The actual departure times for Point D are 11:00pm, 12:00am, and 1:00am

Culebra Frequent
  • Truman Middle School no longer exists

  • There is an erroneous TG note on the Northbound side at 1:04am on the weekday timetable
Bandera Frequent
  • A transfer with Route 501 UTSA / Leon Valley is missing at Bandera & Poss and Evers & Huebner

  • Irving Middle School is now the Irving Dual Language Academy
Poplar
  • Irving Middle School is now the Irving Dual Language Academy

  • Woodlawn Lake Park is shown to be west of NW 24th Street instead of east
IH-10 Crossroads / Roadrunner Express
  • The FG notes at The Rim's weekday departure times at 6:16am and 8:16am (inbound, Point A) are mislabeled as TG

  • Because of the route color change that happened due to the August 2024 rebrand, the directional arrows in the Downtown inset are now extremely difficult to see. A copy of the schedule with the old colors can be found here. Note that this should be used as a visual aid only, as the timetable itself is now outdated.
Vance Jackson Frequent
  • Cody Branch Library is shown to be north of Vance Jackson instead of south
Prímo Military
  • The transfer with Route 613 at Kel-Lac Transit Center no longer exists

  • Transfers with Route 609 Medical Center / Ingram / Kel-Lac and Route 618 Ingram / Westover Hills / Kel-Lac are missing at Kel-Lac Transit Center
Blanco Lineup
  • Although the timepoint at West Avenue & Jackson-Keller exists on the 651 timetable (outbound Point A), there are no times listed
    • The arrival times for Point A would be 10:58pm, 11:58pm, and 12:58am
San Pedro / McCullough Lineup
  • The late-night lineup times for Navarro & Augusta (outbound Point G) are incorrect on the weekday, Saturday, and Sunday timetables

  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at St. Mary's & Martin
    • The actual arrival times are 11:22pm and 12:22am
Broadway / Nacogdoches Lineup
  • The map references three nonexistent timepoints. The arrival times would be as follows:
    • Broadway & Hildebrand: 10:39pm, 11:39pm, and 12:39am
    • Broadway & Castano: 10:42pm, 11:42pm, and 12:42am

  • There is a missing timepoint at Cesar Chavez & Alamo (Point D on the 26 timetable)

  • The map references three nonexistent timepoints. The arrival times would be as follows:

Commercial Lineup
  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Madla Transit Center
    • The arrival times for this timepoint would be 11:09pm, 12:09am, and 1:09am
Nogalitos / Kirk Lineup
  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at S.W. Military Drive & Barlite
    • The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:52pm, 11:52pm, and 12:52am
Guadalupe / Ceralvo Lineup
  • The map references two nonexistent timepoints. The arrival times would be as follows:
    • Castroville & S.W. 36th Street: 10:54pm, 11:54pm, and 12:54am
    • Buena Vista & Colorado: 11:13pm, 12:13am, and 1:13am

  • Although the timepoint at Centro Plaza exists on the 68 and 66 timetables (Point E in both cases), there are no times listed for the inbound direction (66)
    • The arrival times for inbound Point E would be 11:16pm, 12:16am, and 1:16am
West Commerce / Kel-Lac Transit Center Lineup Skip
  • The map references a nonexistent timepoint at Commerce & Colorado
    • The arrival times for this timepoint would be 10:39pm, 11:39pm, and 12:39am
Culebra Lineup
  • The map is wrong near Loop 410; the bus travels on Grandstand Drive and Fairgrounds Parkway, just like the daytime 82 does
Poplar / Woodlawn Lineup
  • The map references five nonexistent timepoints. The arrival times would be as follows:
    • Martin & Frio: 10:39pm, 11:39pm, and 12:39am
    • Ingram & Callaghan: 11:05pm, 12:05am, and 1:05am
    • Freeman & Broadview: 11:08pm, 12:08am, and 1:08am

  • The text "603 bus continues as 604" and its accompanying arrow are on the wrong side of the map; they should be next to the Medical Center, and not UTSA
South Texas Medical Center / Ingram / Kel-Lac
  • The line is unclear between Marbach and Kel-Lac Transit Center
    • Inbound, the bus turns left on Tarasco, turns right on Pilar, turns right on the Loop 410 access road, and travels to Kel-Lac Transit Center via the Highway 90 access road
    • Outbound, the bus turns right on the Highway 90 access road, and turns right on Horal
Ingram / Northwest Crossing
  • The TG notes at Ingram Transit Center (inbound, Point E) at 10:30pm and Cliffbrier & Culebra (outbound, Point A) at 10:39pm are mislabeled as FG
Valley-Hi / Kel-Lac
  • Medina Base Road is unlabeled

  • The transfer with Route 613 that is listed at Kel-Lac Transit Center no longer exists

  • The transfer with Route 613 that is listed at Potranco & Ellison should be Route 618 Ingram / Westover Hills / Kel-Lac

Corrected Errors

This is the list of errors that have been corrected in the time since I started tracking them in early June 2025.

When an error was corrected for a subsequent service change, the exact date it went into effect is given (for example, 8-18-2025). When an error was corrected between service changes, an approximate date is given (for example, September 2025).
